Clifton Garage
Clifton Garage is a car mechanics based in the former Ebsworth Bus Garage (see Bus Garage). Here's a pic of a bus parked up in the garage.
The Ebsworth brothers then started selling Ford cars, and where the camper van is parked in the pic above was a car showroom. Below is a photo of the common walk (see Town Hall) passing the dealership in the late 1960s (pic courtesy of Jackie Griffith.)
This house (below) was built where part of the dealership was. Appropriately it's called 'The Showroom.'
