Long Lane
If you head up the cobbled path alongside the lychgate to the church and turn right you find yourself on Long Lane.
Alternatively, if you visit Dylan's grave in the cemetery you can also join the path by going through the gate at the top of the hill.
This would have been part of the Laugharne bypass which incorporates Cliff Walk, Long Lane, Horsepool Road, Holloway and Stoneyway,
if you wanted to circuit the town in ancient times.
The lane was also a coffin trail. As you get to the Glan y Mor end it descends several feet with high banks either side (see below).
This is simply due to the huge number of people who have walked this path over hundreds if not thousands of years.
